Hello Dear Friends,
I cannot believe that this first month of the New Year is almost over. Time is very quickly is speeding by. No New Year's resolutions for me; instead, my desire is to be joyful in all things and my Bible Verse is Romans 15:13. May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
I can joyfully share with you that River Valley Christian Life Corps is a source of great joy to me and each one of us that God has called to serve in this place. He continues to bless this Ministry as we see Him, up close and personal, work miracles in participants' lives. One of our ladies has been in a difficult situation without shelter and employment. She came from a very broken, abusive relationship and is now starting over. She has her own place, employment, and has renewed her relationship with God and her Church family. Blessing after blessing is coming her way. Someone just donated items that will help meet needs in her new home.
Another one of our participants was matched today with a mentor. They were both overjoyed with the match because they are cousins and already have a close bond.
As we meet the challenges of the New Year, we are prayerfully asking God for more mentors, board members, continued financial support and committed participants. We appreciate your continued prayers for this ministry and these needs.
River Valley Christian Life Corps is a perfect opportunity to be used by God. If you are able and have the time to volunteer, please pray and seek God's guidance. We would love to have you join us on this journey. You will be blessed.
For His Glory,
